Jason Strunk,
Director Emeritus

"TAP operates at the intersection of the authentic human experience and the incredible healing power of the arts, with the ability of song and dance to lift some of the burdens of humanity."

Jason Strunk serves as Director of Choral Activities at Bullis School in Potomac, MD where he conducts choirs grades 6  - 12. Under his leadership, the Bullis choral program has seen significant growth both numerically and artistically. With 24% of the student population singing, the choirs regularly receive ratings of excellent and superior at festivals and most recently represented the United States at the Young Prague International Music Festival, taking the top prize in the Gospel/Spiritual category.  Prior to his arrival at Bullis, Jason enjoyed a career in regional theater. He has worked at Arena Stage, The Everyman Theater, Studio Theater, The American Century Theater, Wolf Trap Opera and the Maryland Ensemble Theater.  Jason holds a BA from the Mansfield University of Pennsylvania where he studied conducting with Dr. Peggy Detwiller and has further studied conducting with Dr. Rodney Eichenberger.
